旅行がテーマということで、見た人がワクワクするような楽しいイラストを目指しました。
Since the theme is travel, I aimed to create fun illustrations that would excite anyone who sees them.
デザイン過程 / Design Process
制作期間 – 1日
まず、トランクをプール代わりにすることを思いつき、加えて旅行のワクワク感を出すためにレトロな革のトランクを描きました。その後トランクの中に水を張り、ヤシの木と、地元・鹿児島県指宿市の池田湖に住んでいるとされる謎の怪獣・イッシーを配置。水に関連する錨やビーチボールをトランクの前に置き、トランクの上側には旅行の思い出を象徴する写真やお土産のステッカーを貼りました。
Production period – 1 day
First, I came up with the idea of using the trunk as a pool, and drew a retro leather trunk to bring out the excitement of traveling. I then filled the trunk with water and placed palm trees and Issie, a mysterious monster said to live in Lake Ikeda, my hometown of Ibusuki-shi, Kagoshima-ken, Japan. I placed an anchor and a beach ball, which are associated with water, in front of the trunk, and attached photos and souvenir stickers that symbolize travel memories to the top of the trunk.
使用したツールや技術 / Tools and Techniques used
Adobe Illustrator CS6。スタンプにもできるように、あえてモノクロで描きました。
Adobe Illustrator CS6. I intentionally drew it in monochrome so that it could also be used as a stamp.
結果・成果 / Results and Outcomes
ThreadsとInstagramで公開。国内外から一定数の「いいね！」を頂きました。また、2024年2月に出版された書籍「デザインノートPremium」にも掲載されています。
It was published on Threads and Instagram, and received a certain number of likes from both within Japan and overseas. It was also featured in the book “Design Note Premium,” published in February 2024.
